Hey Mike, yup, still messing with the birds. I haven't carved anything in more than 4 years now BUT I've stayed in touch with a few fellow carvers, hunters...one of em, Grant W. has me talked back into making a few this fall and I might even head out to join him for a duck hunt one of these days.

I raised and flew a male imprint Coopers Hawk this summer...a royal blast on small starling and sparrows. And I'm flying my ol' stand-by...a 2 yr old female Harris' Hawk. She's my bread and butter bird at the moment and will try her hand on everything from turkeys, geese, ducks to rabbits...

LOL, thanks Dave, tights…sheeesh….That was one hell of a day (trip) and it has a fine place in my memories. We’ll have to do it again and I’ll bring the Chicken Hawk along to help you out with those ditch chickens that keep running on ya~
