opinions wanted: chesapeake/eastern shore region for new place to call home

If your goal is not to shovel snow, I think you need to look a little further south. Might not be much compared to upstate NY, but you'll still need a shovel.

    12 foot sears

I have the exact same boat. Well technically my dad has the exact same boat. Been wanting to get something a little bigger and more open, but it has served us well over the years.

Do you shoot ducks on the water?

I have never understood the objection to shooting them on the water, and have been known to water swat a few of them in my time. I have seen guys on forums say it is unethical to shoot a sitting duck, but turn around in the next breath and say shooting at a running deer is unethical, and...

    Youth model rifle

My Dad bought a couple of the Savage Axis youth combos in 7mm-08 for my nephews and they seem to shoot pretty well. Not sure if the 08 would be big enough for elk or not, probably depend on how far you are shooting. They put a hurtin' on a deer though.

Question for the Lake Erie Ohio guys

My uncle charters out of Erie Pa, but I don't think he can handle 6 or 7 guys. I know you said spring, but when are you thinking of coming up? Before June I would probably recommend someone in the Western basin, possibly PortClinton area. Fish seem to move west to east as the water warms up

    Fred Slyfield

Dani, I have no experience with gator, but have been playing around making my own sausages recently and feel I'm getting pretty good at it. In my opinion 15% fat is the absolute minimum for good sausage and 20% is best. Some commercial sausage is 30%, but that's too greasy for my taste. I...

    Kreg Joint

I assume you are talking about the pocket screws? It is a pretty good system, the only warning i Will give is make sure everything is clamped securuly in place before trying to screw everything together as the pieces will move a tiny bit if you don't and your joint will be off a hair. Also...
