    Brant migrating north

I see a bunch of them every day feeding on the East River at low tide. They're beautiful birds. Non-hunters routinely mistake them for geese.

SSWA DUCKBOAT SHOW - my newest "excuse": Bold talk from a one-eyed fat man ?

Steve- You are a GENTLEMAN in every respect of the word. I have enjoyed my trips to your home. I have enjoyed seeing you at decoy and duck boat shows along the Northeast. You have done amazing work for me in the past on decoys and on the "original" Southbay Spa Treatment that you tricked-out...

We just lost another Sneakbox expert - BILL SIMONSEN

Very sad news. I had the pleasure of visiting with Bill at his house a few years ago. I still have his business card because he impressed me. He took me in his shop and he showed me around. He had about 4 of his boats out in the back yard of his property. He also had one in the shop. His boats...

    Dog Kennels

Supposedly the best kennel on the market. Made great in the USA and super safe for your canine friend. I was on their website earlier today. I'm purchasing two of them this week.

    anyone recognize this signature

Show a picture of the painting. People who collect art, like myself, can sometimes identify an artist's work without a signature present. You'll increase your odds that someone may recognize who painted it. It's basically the same as trying to identify decoy carvers.

    "From the Marsh"

Great documentary. Thanks for sharing. If you're involved in the decoy community, you'll definitely recognize most; if not all of these carvers.

    Cast iron? Herters decoy anchors

I buy them when ever I see them reasonably priced. I'm not paying a lot for them. You can buy a mold and make your own a lot more economically.

    Lab breeders

My lab that I just lost to cancer at 9 3/4 years of age behaved the same exact way. She was a pleasure to have around. Her mother hailed from Altiquin Kennels in Leitrim, Ireland. The Irish and British lines are special dogs. They're very calm dogs and extremely eager to please. I would gladly...

    Lab breeders

Try Tallgrass Kennels in Tillar, Arkansas, formerly from South Dakota. They sold me the very best hunting companion I have ever had. Kiply and Robert Clair own the kennel. It's a first class operation. Go visit them. You will love these people. They're 100% honest and stay in touch with you...
