starting an I/O that has been sitting

Thanks for the input. I will be replacing BOTH water pumps. It has a sealed system and a outside pickup. The good thing is that it has been in heated storage so the winter(s) were not hard on it. I just have to find the time to do it all.

starting an I/O that has been sitting

I started working on an I/O that has been in storage for the last 15 years. I drained the oil, pulled the plugs, sprayed some lube in the cyl. and turned it over by hand. I'm going to replace the fuel lines, drain the gas tank, and replace the fluid in the outdrive. Is there...

    Here in the semi-tropical Midwest...

Very nice!!!! How do you carry those out to the water? Custom foam packaging? I get the feeling that they are not tossed in the bottom of the duck boat with the dog sitting on top of them. I'm starting to get back into carving - I just hope I can get a rig half as nice as those. I'm...

I had one!! it was a death trap. The bow came down too far and it would go under while moving. I swamped mine 4-5 times before I got rid of it.

    Bilge pump freezing up

Not much help because I have never been able to solve that problem either. Just DO NOT use one with an auto on switch - I had one burn up (next to gas tank!!!!!!) when the switch froze in the on position and the pump was locked up with ice. I was lucky nothing really bad happened.

    Can not figure it out!!

I did some scouting this weekend and found a spot that was holding a bunch of Cans, Ringnecks, Bluebills (there may have been others but that was all I could see through the glasses). What I can not figure out is WHY THEY WERE THERE. There is nothing special about the spot, it is not a...

What Garmin GPS do you recommend??

I have the eTrex Legend. It works fine but I wish the screen was bigger. When you zoom in enough to follow a track it is in overzoom mode. It does come in handy when I am running the lake in the fog. I got the MapSource software to go with it so I can upload all my tracks to my PC and do...

    Bird Cleaning

How do most of you clean your birds - Breast Only or Full cleaning (like a store bought) I just breast them out but I think it limits the cooking options.
