Anyone who knows me, knows I love duck boats of all types. Ive had a 12 foot high box for many years, and its a great boat for two guys and the dog. However sometimes its too much for just one guy, especially if youre on a low tide mud flat.

I had searched for an 11 foot Roy low boat for quite a few years, and I was able to locate one, and secure a deal at this year?s Tuckerton decoy show. It had sat for quite a while.
Here it is freshly painted with a spray dodger and layout style flaps. I will hunt it in the traditional manner shooting over the transom.View attachment 8F4297EC-DF10-4073-BBA5-A0B01E0954F6.jpeg

Very cool! Question for the 12' roy boat. Where does your dog sit and can they see out to mark birds?

Congrats Jode... Roys' small boat was always my favorite.
Gotta know though... Why the lights? Did you buy it from someone in Delaware? [;)]

Lol, actually no. But that thing is bolted and glued on like a mother.....haha.
The boat belonged to a mutual roofer friend, so it has all the bells an whistles

Oh, how about that.... I thought it looked familiar.
Chip will be smiling when he sees you heading down river....

As I hope so. That boat has had more of my decoys in it than my own.haha

Jode -

That is one sweet lookin' duck huntin' machine.

Ya did good.

IMO nothin' like solo waterfowl huntin' in a cozy sneakbox, and shooting over the transom.

When things are slow it's a good place for a short nap.[;)]

Best regards
Vince
