A friend of the family just gave me the decoys listed below. He was going to put them in trash. Not sure on the "value" of them but looking for input
12 Fiberglass Goose shells (12 original stakes and 13 heads) heads look like they have the original rubber band attachment strap
6 ARIDUK Goose floaters (4 heads w original plastic eyes)
9 ARIDUK Mallards
6 ARIDUK Pintails (very good condition)
7 HIGGINS Mallards (fiber body)
11 Cardboard Goose Shells (12 heads & Stakes)

12 Herters 63 mallard (never used - original box with 5/1962 postage)

The new in the box decoys may draw some good attention.

The value for the rest are that they were saved from destruction, thank goodness, and that they still will WORK.

IMO your a very lucky man, with a very good friend.

my 2 cents

That's awesome stuff. I would totally hunt them at least a few times for old time's sake Cool factor is very high, in my opinion.

Good morning, Scott~

Congratulations on a great windfall!

Your Goose shells are Herter's Model Superiors. I think this excerpt is from the 1966 catalog.

My Dad had 2 dozen of these. They are some kind of resin-impregnated paper. I shot my first Canada over them - when I was 13 - with a Parker 28 gauge side-by-side.

All the best,
