1970 Al Tonnesen sailing/gunning sneakbox

My 1970 Al Tonnesen Sailing and Gunning sneakbox. Al was the last old time barnegat baymen he learned to build sneakboxs from Rube Corliss and you can see Rubes influence in Al’s boats. They are great open water sneakbox built for diver gunning. It 12ft 4in long and 58 inches wide and strong upturned bow to break the waves. When sailing it is a sprit rig sail.

Nice looking boat. Is the rudder a large barn door shape? I always like the lines of the sailing sneakboxes. I already cut my daggerboard or else I would add that hand cutout. The daggerboard just rounded over?
