2010 going out in style

Saw 2010 off in style this afternoon with my friend. First good shoot in a while. Some black ducks, mallards, gadwalls, and geese, including one banded in 2002 in Quebec.

The two feet plus of snow we got here in NJ last week was a pain as a lot of ramps are still blocked and the ice is tough, but we found some open water and had some fun. Hoping 2011 follows suit!

Thanks everybody. I love hunting black ducks, nothing like it.

Got out this morning for a quick hunt in the very still and warm conditions. Managed two mallards and a black duck, one of the mallards was banded this past August in Quebec.
