2014 Duckboats.net decoy swap?

any interest this year for a decoy swap?

wood, cork or stretched canvas bodies with fully carved, wood heads (no molded heads or bodies)

Same as last year you can sign up but until you PM me a picture of those who have my phone number text me a completed bird you do not go into the draw. That way everyone is assured to get their bird and not wait months to get one if they ever get it. Once the date to draw gets here I will compile the list of names match them to random numbers and send a list of numbers to a member of this board not in the draw. They will pick what number ships to what number not knowing who's name belongs to the number.

I have a canvasback drake out of hollow basswood that I am entering into the draw.

Oh yeah, June 15th for the draw, decoys will be expected to be shipped within a few days after you get the address to ship.

Tom~

Always a sucker for these things, I will probably carve something - but it will have to wait until late-May.

Stay tuned....

All the best,

SJS

I'll join in again. I like the way you run it. I have a pair of cork and white pine Cans I'm working on. I send the one that comes out best. Interestingly, I was contacted in Feb. by the guy who stiffed me on a decoy four years ago wanting to know if my address had changed so he could send the decoy.....but so far still no decoy

Darn it Steve, looks like we won't be trading birds with each other with these other fellas joining in :) I figure by the end we will have close to mid teens to choose from. cannot wait to see the work of everyone

Tom, Can anyone be involved or do you need to be at a certain level. If you don't need to be a top notch carver and painter, I would like to get in on this. I have a couple of birds done and I would be willing to swap one. Jeff

Tom,

Ill toss my hat in the ring. No photos yet as I have yet to carve the bird, but it will most likely be a hollow body Canvas Back.
