It looks like a favorable farm bill for conservation programs,not great but better than the alternative. GRP,WRP,FPP have been rolled into the ACEP. Funding is in place for the next 5 years,with the 5th year having the lowest allocation.
Most of the reduction in allocation will be through a reduction in CRP acres. Not a great thing in some areas, but it will raise the bar on what makes the cut- keep the best, cull the rest.
