I'm not sure why I cannot get pictures to post right now, so I just added them as attachments.
Thought you all might enjoy a photo from last weekend - The boat is a 14' modified Garvey that my dad built approximately 30 years ago. It is flat bottomed (goes in very shallow water) with a lot of rocker incorporated (easy to row). At the time he was more concerned with being able to row easily should there be a motor failure than he was having good performance. The boat will get on plane with a very light load, but mostly just cruises along at displacement speeds. I do have some other pictures that I have not yet scanned in from the maiden voyage of the boat that I will post again when I get a chance to, which really show the amount of rocker in the boat.
Unfortunately I am in the middle of a project on my Scaup so I have been using his boat. As much as I like the nostalgic appeal of the boat, I do miss my Scaup!
