Couldn't fit the pics in the first post... I'll be posting more pics as the boat gets finished.. The amazing part about this boat is the age of my father. He just turned 70 in October and thinks nothing of taking on a project like this. These pics show the boat being brought home from the marina where the project began and the roof we are building over it to protect the rest of the construction from the winter weather.. He promises this is the last one he will be finsihing, however he is already talking aboat building a 19' skiff.. The completion of this boat will mark his 5th boat over 30 foot.. I can't count the number of smaller ones.. I will try to post a pic of the boat he most recently finished..

That Duffy should get the job done. What is the Power? Did it get installed in maine or down in NJ?

I like the roof!

He does everything home.. Just buys the bare hull, and builds it from there, trunk cabin and all. He even makes his own tanks, puts the shaft, and rudder in, and mounts the moter himself.. He powered this boat with a cummins..

My father refuses to give the name out, even to me.. All the other boats were named Deborah Lee, however he claims he has a particular name for this as he claims it to be the last one he is going to make.. Gues I'll find out with you as it gets put on in April.. I'll be sure to post a pic..

Your dad is really special. Great boat - a single perkins diesel would be awsome with that hull. Stay close and learn what you can - other people dream - your dads a do'er .
