Has anyone played with the new 460 Smith yet? My daughter Meg won one at the State dinner for Hunter Ed instructors last week. Since a humungous super high velocity revolver isn't her cup of tea, she’s offered it to me at a good enough price that I'm ending up with it. I know I can shoot my 45 LC in it for fun but I'm curious if anyone has some experience with it. By the way, Dave Clark (& others from the Lobsterfest) this is the same girl who won the Mossberg shotgun. She continues to be one of the luckiest people I've known.
For those of you who haven't paid attention to what the revolver industry has been doing lately, this gun throws a 200 gr. 45 slug out at a velocity of 2300 - ft/sec. The gun weights 4.5# and is a five shot. link thingy
Cool high Tech gun, that I'm not sure I'll ever shoot but if I go out fishing in Bear country I'll have an extra anchor to strap to my chest.
