My friend uses one and is very happy with it. I've been with him and it paddles much better than my Otter Stealth. Good luck.

I don't have an 8' but I do have a 10' that I bought from a member on here. Paddles very well. I have used it to hunt out on some lakes with emerhent vegetation out in the middle and it works very well. The 10' is big enough for me to lay down in.

If you're not a big guy and don't hunt with a dog, the 8' should do and it's easier to haul in a truck bed or tender. I'm 6-2, 230 and the 10' is perfect for me, with just enough extra room for a smallish lab. Either way, it's a great boat.
