Well, it was a clear dry day so I decided to make the drive to Port Townsend and see the Wooden Boat School and other touristy sites. Once the wife and i made it to town, we spent some of the morning walking through the "antique" stores. Then we drove to the north end of town and to the two buildings at the school by the docks. And of course, it was closed and all I could do was plant my mug onto the glass doors and stare at all the boats like a kid at a candy store, just drooling. Their store was open though and I do plan on being there at the festival in Sept. I think there was about 3-400 boats entered last Sept. They did have a unbeleivable kayak/rower handing from the store ceiling that was, well, unbelievable.
Now to make it to next season. Finishing more decoys will help.
Take care everyone.
