A day on the water with my buddy TJ on a new boat

Went on a test drive of my new boat a Bankes Freedom before Irene hit us, saw some new areas and had a chance to open the 70hp, wow what a difference in speed and power over my 15hp Estuary, Tj was sooo happy to be back on the water, here are some of the pics i took that day.

On a different note Irene hit big around where i live, the river in front of the house got flooded but no harm done, couldn,t get out of the house for two days and there was no power for four days but life is normal now.
Here how my mail box looked on Sun morning

The Estuary is a slug compared to just about any boat. Its like a tug boat! LOL! I wouldn't trade it because she's gonna keep me and my pup safe in just about anything mother nature can throw at us though. That Bankes boat is nice.

You are so right Davey, I'm holding tight to my Estuary and my wife thinks I would sell my "smaller" boat since I have a bigger one, she,s naive.
