OK I know this is a little off kilter but my mother-in-law was aking me what I wanted for christmas this year and I just couln't come up with anything. That is until I was setting here going thru all of the post with pics and daydreaming when it hit me. Why not have her buy me a dhbp members decoy? So here it goes guys. If you have a decoy for sale please email me with a couple of pics and the price for it. My hunting is mostly puddlers but have had an occasional diver fall to my gun. I'm only 80 miles from the coast. Blue bills, ring necks, mallards of course, woodies, teal, canvasbacks, redheads, etc. I know without a doubt this is the beginning of a new obsession.

please snd emails to mriggan78@hotmail.com

Most folks that carve and sale decoys don't keep them in stock. Most of the time you have to place an order and the maker will make it for you. It's also wise to order ahead of time that you need it as for some folks it takes a while to get orders out since they are hand made.

What is your budget and waht do you want it for? Are you going to hunt it and beat it up or did you want something to hunt once in a while and put on a shelf the rest of the time? The ones I see on here that I would like probably start around 450(if you could get them to make one for you) and go up......

I am a hunter not a collector so gunners are my choice. My M.I.L. usually spends around 100 bucks for a present. I am not up for a 450.00 bird as this might cause a trip to the hospital. lol I'm sure those who are married got it.
