Those pictures really get the blood pumping. Opening day is a week from tomorrow and Sea Duck season is already open. Word around the CT shore is there are a few scoters kickin' around.

Jim, one thing that I'll never forget was setting the blocks that morning with "the kid" was when I realized it was waste deep and jumping out of the boat to set long lines and wading around. While walking around I felt a large rush of water against my legs and realized something big swam past me! It was then I remembered the show on Nat Geo about the harbor seal population increase and the subsequent increase of great whites to the area! It was a 9.5 on the sphincter scale until a harbor seal popped up 10 yrds away! Needless to say that was the last time I jumped in the water that day! HA
