Was out for a short walk with the pooches yesterday and saw some crocus's just poking up. Heard some gophers but didn't see any, so bears must be getting up too. Not much snow on S slopes now but lots in the bush and N sides. Sunset is at about 9:30 now so we're getting into the longer days. I can't wait to get out fly fishing for Grayling when the creeks open up a bit.

Starting to see a father's form passed down through the hands of his Son...Mac is doing some wonderful work...I am absolutely jealous...Hey, you haven't done any teal lately have ya? Looking to start building up my Teal rig since I am down in Louisiana now...

Regards,

Kristan

Thanks for the encouragement guys, I appreciate it.

The boy has his own ideas about style and I'm happy to help him that's for sure.

I am painting up a cinnamon teal right now K but I haven't made more than a couple of bluewings ever. I made some GWT heads this winter with plans to put them on bodies, just didn't do it yet.

Mike, Missed you at Westlake last month. Hope all is well. Have my rig of teal(8 birds) all carved, now to the paint.

Glad to see you are carving some. Weather here has been great. 85F last Thursday and in the 60's most days. Too early for these temps, but we'll take em.

Hope your weather warms up soon as well. Be safe.

Best, Duane G.

Hey Ganser--just getting ready to keel a dozen mallards--bandsawed a wood mallard-plan on doing a hollow demo for greenwings in greenwood, del,. on saturday, between days at ocean city Are you coming down?
Mike, guess i am going to take that pato cuchara to argentina and give it a tryout. Hope to have some pics for you in June.

Hi to all for me, thanks.

Well if you or Mac get the urge to throw one of those heads on a body give me a heads up...
