Just kidding Scott,
We had a blast seeing the work at the show and some of the regular museum display as well.......

It was hot but the craftsmanship was amazing as it is every year.

They are restoring the Charles W Morgan (Last Sail Whaling Ship) to working condition to sail back into New Bedford Harbor!

Derek, you beat me to it! Yes, I would bet that is a melonseed too. I'll bring the beer.....

I have the line drawings for a set of plan on my wall of my office. After the sneakbox is done, and then the BBII is in the water.... I will build a melonseed. Still debating if it will be a 16' or the 13' 4", guess it depends on if I use the Barto plans or someother...

Geez Dave, it's like a nose ring. Attach a painter and you can lead it around. Or tie off your anchor rode without pulling the bow under exactly like bow eyes on a v-hull.

Bob, glad we met up it was a great time looking over all those future maintenance headaches. Hope the puppy party at Marc's went well. Did Scout recognize mom?

that canoe hardware isn't on straight.

They just don't make em like they use to. :-)

That last rowing dory/skiff whatever it is looks cool.

Tim

The Robertson fasterners aren't origional, so who knows who's eye sucks.

Yeah that little skiff would be sweet when I go for my narwhal. Get Jen on the oars in the fjords and I can carry the 'poon and lance in the bow. Faster hon', we are almost in striking distance. Use the scull oar for seals.

If you are going after narwhal you should really go traditional all the way and use a seal skin yak. Me I'd take that top boat after a sperm whale... if you are going to go go big. "There she blows..."

Dave Clark, his son and I went on Sunday, first time for all of us. I almost shit a brick when asked for $24 to get in, but it was a lot bigger than I thought and by the end of the day it was $24 well spent. A lot of interesting stuff to check out.
