It's been another great season spent with friends and family. We're still open until marsh for RP Canada geese and Snows so it should be a decent February.

The first few photos didn't come up for me. Looks like you had a great season. Seems like banded brant happen to a lot of folks...I'd probably pass out from all the blood rushing to my head.

Despite not having a retriever I had a great season as well. Those last retrieves are tough. Our Feb goose season opens Sunday and we'll still be grinding the geese. It's been an embarassingly good year for me goose wise.

Strange the pics don't work....

We're had a slower goose year at the one property, but there are more geese there. Then again it's only the second season there and I didn't actually count last year.

Overall the common sentiment in MD has been bad duck year good goose year and plenty of cans.

That's the second banded brant to grace the Goliath and yes, I did the band dance.

3rd Band of the season....2 Drake Mallards and a Brant, not to mention a number of release bands from 00,03,06.

Jay, anytime you want to brant hunt let me know.

It was a great season for sure.

I'll get carving here shortly. I have to finish a goose that will be Sandie's final resting place as well as it's twin as a thank you to a friend.

I'll be carving 7 mallards for the Havre De Grace show and plan on trying to get something done to float in the Westlake Pool too.

We'll see how it all works out.

Great pics dave! I have that pic of myself holding that exquisite hen black duck as my wallpaper!

What am awesome trip!

p.s. manitoba is for gays. Come to nodak in november, i'll show you tornado alley.

Nice pictures Dave - I see the widegeon decoys that I sold you earlier really pulled in the swans! Sounds like another great season, thanks for sharing.

Were you shaking when those big ol swans came in? My hospital window was in a flyway between the only two open waters in Battle Creek. One big flock of Canadas came over being led by a dirty little Snow Goose. I saw more Mallards looking out that window than I saw all year in a boat. Love yer pics.
