In between the rain clouds we actually had a bit of sun. Not much but more than we had in a month. I had to go out in the mornings as River was driving me crazy. She thought maybe I was in a depression or something. Not many birds around yet but there coming. I did get a few pics, but not much to brag about. Thanks for looking and good luck everyone who will be chasing turkeys before long.

These first two are of a common Merganser, Hint,Hint MLbob Furia
These next six are of some geese. I never really liked shooting pics of geese but now am pleased to try and get some great shots of them. I have so much more appreciation for them now.
Next is a pic of a mallard. Definately not proud of this shot.
Now a redwing blackbird. I really like this shot as it is so hard to get the blacks not all washed out.
Next is this shot of some Ringnecks. Very poor angle of the lighting but love to hunt these little guys.
River was so glad to be out running around like a crazy women. Had to post one of her.
I was happy with these widgeon shots, both were taken with the sun out.
Then this Porcupine was hanging high up in the trees. Glad River didn't get tangled up with it.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Gary
