I have tried a number of brands over the years...
Here is a list...
Cheap Hodgon Wade Lites bought in 1999 ----lasted until 2008 ----electroshocking fish....surveying streams climbing over barbwire fences.... they had hard use for about 4 of those years...
Sims - not sure what models....2001 - 2002.... bought to replace Hodgon Wade Lites (they became back up) Pure junk in short order....leaked from day one...should have returned them...
Second pair of Sims 2004-2005 --- ok until they met a barbwire fence ....instant wader death...12 inch rip.
Hodgon Wade Lites. 2006-2007 new model.....lasted a few months..
Sportsman Warehouse model...2008 leaked in a month... replaced and that pair leaked after 3 months of use..
Cloud Veil Hellroaring 2010....so far so good after 6 months
Cabelas heavy insulated neoprene....2002?....used for late season duck hunting on the Snake river....tough wader but not for hiking around in...great for a blind..
Several pairs of cheaper neoprene waders from 1999 to present....good for maybe one season then junk...they are used for late season field work ..
So choose your poison..
