I wanted to share my experience from this past weekend.

My little girl in the picture is Maniac Bluegrass Baby (Belle). She is nearly 4 years old and out of Westwind Chesapeakes. She is currently training with Chris Akin in Jonesboro, AR. This weekend, we had a double Master test at the West Kentucky WMA and Belle pulled out two Master passes, which is tough for any dog. What made this neat, was these were her first Master passes. I also had the honor of hosting Chris and his assistant Brett at my home for some great fellowship. For those who have retrievers and play the hunt test game, you will understand the thrill of an accomplisment for your dog. For Deb and I, our lives have definitely been enriched by our dog, and the wonderful people we've met over the years because of her.

Congratulations Steve!
I never made it that high up the chain with Bailey (she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia after finishing her senior title). It takes a LOT of time and energy as well as talent (she had it, I probably didn't) to get that far. You should definitely be proud! Just in time for duck season to roll around. Have fun this fall.

Excellent Steve...Proud of Bell...She earned her Master's from me in Manitoba awhile back...Have to bring her down to Texas so she can earn her masters picking up Redheads... :)
