A ringing endorsement, Troy Fields

I spent last week up in Maine with Traditions Guide Service, Captain Troy Fields. I rented Troy's cabin on the lake, and enjoyed a week of general relaxation along with turkey hunting. I just wanted to say, Troy is a great host and his cabin is wonderful. The cabin is literally 15 steps from the lake, it is very secluded and has a camping feel (but has all the amenities along with cable tv). Troy was a wonderful host, and spent time outlining various day trips for me (to the NH mountains 1 hr NW, and the coast 45min-1hr east). I also got to visit Portland and the LL bean headquarters. Had a great time, thanks Troy. Hope to make it up for eiders.

Thanks Kris. It was great to get to meet you and hang out a little. Glad you enjoyed your time here. I'll be chasing the long beards again this Saturday, I've decided to try to get my last bird of the season with my muzzle loader shotgun, so thinking it will be a close encounter. I've met customers at Kittery Trading Post on their way home from hunts with Troy...all echo the sentiments above. Great to hear folks are enjoying New England...nice to hear you are maintaining the standard!
