Adding grass to avery quick set blind....

I have a 16 ft jon boat and my old man is giving me his avery quick set blind. Has anyone tried adding fast grass or raffia grass to one? This blind does not have any veggitation loops on it and I don't want to cut it up too bad. Any photos and advice is appreciated.

What i had done with mine was get the military netting that has the rope netting behind it. then i tied the raffia to the military netting.

Thanks Jeff and Wesley, I have a bag of killer weed already. I'll stop at the military surplus store and look for some netting.

I had one on my flat bottom for a lil while best advice I can give you is do not put any kind of wooven grass panel on that blind resons why.

1 It will make the blind heavy as a sin.

2 It will make it very diffucult to properly fold down the blind

3 It will hang out the boat when driving and grab water.

4 It will make the blind profile stand out and look like a huge box.

Best way to camo it is use the camo skirts that come with it are use some camo netting.
And add grass that comes in bundels, pull the bundels apart and ziptie them all over the blind use diffrent colors as well.

Start at the very top of the blind and work you way down.

I like the looks of the fast grass but my concern was weight and functionality. I have used raffia tied to netting on my sneak boat and am sure that I will go that way. Just looking for ideas. Here is a pick of my sneak boat
