Hope you have your camera out. I know there are not any clouds in your sky to block it out. Looking forward to the picture from the great South West.

Good morning, Bob! You are correct----"Severe Clear" is the forecast for today. With all that white stuff on the ground it is extremely light outside. Too bad I am not going duck hunting because I would not have had to use my head lamp to set out my decoys. The moon is brilliant----almost like you could go out and touch it.

Eddie,

It soon will be an eclipse. The lunar eclipse is supposed to happen at 8:36 central time this morning. It is 8:17 now and already daylight here. That is why we were hoping that Al could capture it, he is further west.

Hi Bob, Jim, Eddie, and Dave,
This is the best I could do this morning. Was rather intriguing because I got to see it begin to get lighter just before the moon set behind the mountains and just before the sun began to peek above the eastern horizon. Hope you like this series.

In this last shot you will see a rancher's cow right on top of the hill and in the moon. To the left of this one are about 4 more cows.

Al,
I awoke to clouds and didnt get a peek. BUT I knew you would have the camera out and have perfect weather.

It sure did go to red there. Very nice shots. I bet the moon effect was something on that ridge....

Hi Al. Been hunting all day and just now saw this post. If you get your finger outta the way, you'll get a better pic. Trip:)

Al,
Great shots. I like the last one. I have never actually seen a cow jump over the moon. Guess thats about a close as it gets.
