No, just 16 days as normal but the limit is 6.
I may hunt early teal for the first time in over 10 years.

Very nice. Ohio is usually one of the last to get there's together.

Congrats on being able to shoot teal half hour before sunrise. Our is sunrise, also known as half hour after the teal get up and leave until nightfall...

Good morning, Carl~

I note that your Duck Season is virtually the same as our Long Island season.

Question: Is your Merganser limit separate from your Duck limit? Ours were merged about 20 years ago.

All the best,

SJS

Yes, mergies are separate, 5/day 2 can be hoodies.
So if you really got on the right spot, you could bring home 6 ducks, 5 lawn-darts and 15 coots in one day!
I have never killed 5 mergies in one day, maybe had one or two chances to do so if I had wanted to.
I have taken two hoodies in one day.

Our shooting time is around 6:10 am. I don't think I have ever killed a teal in early season past 8:00am.

Carl - You are going to give me a heart attack... you took 1 can and 1 bluebill per day away from me! :) In verifying with the website, limits are actual 2 cans, 2 pintails, and 3 bills per day this year. You can have my pintail though as I won't see the first one unless it's half mile in the air headed somewhere else.

Sorry!!! I fixed it. The regs are correct in the Waterfowl pamphlet but wrong on the E-Regs site. I will let them know.
