Well I guess it is time I should clean. My wife is very very understanding and I often wonder just what she saw in me. I too am on my first wife and I don't plan on starting over. This year will be a bit special, July 1st of 2012 will mark 40 years of our happiness together.

I sincerely hope all you younger guys find a true soul mate and lifelong companion like I have. Hobbies come and go, having a soul mate is something to be cherished.

Andrew, andrew, Andrew you are but just a pup..... you have a girlfriend, she has not yet become a wife. You maybe one of the rare that has a girlfriend that does not become a wife, even if you marry her.... but right now, you think you have it figured out ;)

Think!?? Hell at 22 (soon to be 23) I KNOW I have it figured out! I thought I did at 16 so 6 years later I must know it all right?!?
 
Dave, I told my wife I wanted to buy one new gun a year until I die. She said "Buy one more and that can be arranged." Seriously, she is pretty good about the guns I bring home, but I doubt that I could hide a whole boat without her knowing. Impressive.

Hell Andrew you couldn't even pee straight 6 yrs ago let alone figure it out:) If she makes you happy don't let her go!!

I picked up a nice 9.9 four stroke last year to replace my old motor. No problems until last week I hadn't painted it camo yet and she commented what a pretty new motor that was on my duck boat. "I guess it's time for me to look for a new fiddle ". Busted, worse part is I have to pay for the fiddle.
 
I don't hide anything from Maria, I have just wheeled and dealed several boats in the past couple years, and keep "finding great deals" that she can't keep track! Let's see since 2009, I have had 2 sneakboxes, a scull, a pond box, 3 canoes, 2 unfinished hulls, a layout and a 16ft jon boat in the yard.... maybe that is why she loses track... until I bring it forward to the boat shop, and she sees it a few times, she is not going to pay much attention.

I have the same deal with my tools. But at least they make me money.

My wife always whine'd about the guns I bought, So I added the Ice'ing on the cake, I applied and recieved my FFL's now she doesn't know what guns I sell and what ones are added to my private collection, ( she can't open the safe" :) )
