AM Florida hunt with Dani and Susie.

The Sisters of War....I know they were Celtic in origin but the Celts seemed to lack the imagination to assign "specific" jobs to their Goddesses so I can never figure out what they really were supposed to be....other than causing huge amounts of trouble when it came to men and war, OH WAIT, I know now....their job was to be WOMEN....I mean who else would disquise herself as a "leper" and then enslave the men that tried to have sex with her, (clearly the available pool of Celtic women must have been VERRRRRYYYYYYYYyyyyyy shallow for a Leper to attract enough sexual ardor that Macha could accumulate not just one, but multiple, slaves in that fashion).....

I'm unfamiliar with either of them having children, or if they did of either of them making the mistake of stating that said Daughter was wearing her drawers on her head as our "Resident" Goddess has so recently done.....

Other than that about all I know for sure about the sisters is that Morrigu survived in Emerald Isles legends long enough to morph into Morgana La Fey, the evil hag of a witch that so tormented King Arthur.....

Personally I'll stick with the Greek and Roman Gods as they all seemed to have "specific" duties assigned to them and that makes them easier to follow and also to tell when they made mistakes like starting wars by pimping out whores to sissy boys who shot hero's in the ankles from behind..........

It's a welding cap. Go back and read Dani's first post on this thread. She even states that her dad bought it for her while he was teaching her how to weld. But maybe they're making the hats from excess PJ/panty material the welding cap company buys up. Or maybe Hanes makes the hats on the side. Or maybe Mexicans steal the panty material from the Hanes plant in Guavo, sews them up using slave child labor, and smuggles them in with the dope.

Just a thought.

come on hitch -- whats so exciting about a welding cap on your head -- now a pair of panties -- that evokes stories and vivid imagination ----- we know dani's story -- we like the goddess explanation better -- lol

AT LEAST until someone proves to me that they are now making panties with little flexible bills on them.....

Its tough to admit I know Diana but even Goddesses are wrong from time to time.....(see the story of Helen of Troy as proof of that one)....

Steve
actually that is a small pocket flap for emergency feminine gear....would you like details?????

Steve, and sundry others, I see you are a little familer with stuff celltic. If you prefer greeks, well okay. As to the welding beanie with a "supply" pocket, at least the thread is heading toward subject matter with wings. hee hee.

You know what's neat? Seeing your signature on the bottom of a traveling decoy.
You know what's not neat? Spewing diet pepsi on the laptop. Thanks JW.

That remindes me.....When my dad was employeed at the University of Arkansas my folks had a foreign exchange student from Australia stay with them one year. She was from Victoria and her dad was a duck hunter so we had lots to talk about. Anyway my little brother was a sweat pants kind of guy back in the day and wore a leather fanny pack all the time to carry is billfold, cigs and such. I thought it was kind of gay so I refered to it as his possibles pouch thinking that sounded more manly. He hated that! (Thank god the era is over) Well one night shortly after she arrived we were all invited to dinner and to meet the vistor. One of her first questions was to my brother asking what he was wearing and he answered a fanny pack. Well she turned all sorts of color red and got real mousing looking and started to giggle. Of course we all looked at one another asking what was so funny as she explained that in australia a fanny pack is a slang term for a small pouch that women carried their personal items in. After she explained that he turned more shades of red than she had. That's all it took my little brother retired his fanny pack and never looked back.

Take care,

Ed L.

ED- I wish you would tell my mother in law those days are over. I have been trying now for 13 years. She gets some pretty funny looks sometimes especially from the high school aged kids. I even bought her a leather backpack hoping she'd retire it. Now it's leather up front and leather out back, i'll have to take a picture and post it.

on the lost cause of trying to convincing us those are drawers I see.....

I'll pass on the "details" you mentioned....

Steve

If you're looking for weding beanies, there won't be one big enough or small enough to fit my head.
