And one shall be called Emma.

Great news came the other day. A litter of Chessepeake Bay Retrievers was born on January 3rd. I had placed a deposit on a female and was keeping my fingers crossed for the next Salty Dog. Well, the dame produced 4 little females and 4 males.

Here is a pic of the females.

My family, perhaps not as much as me, is looking forward to the new pups arrival. She will get to join us around February 22nd. She will become the second leg of our team to join my 5yr old little white dog, Abby. I will now have an English Setter and a CBR. Should make for a good Upland Bird and Duckin team.

As mentioned her name will be Emma. I have my pick between the two lighter colored or dead grass pups.

Another guy bites the dust......remember you don't.own a Chessie, the Chessie owns you!. They are a very loyal dog that wants to be your shadow! I have a male that is almost 6 years old and he still "pouts" when I leave the house without him.....
