I'll update as it progresses. I need to do some work on the wiring too.

I've redone 2 Lund Alaskans. Lunds are easy and fun to work on. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Get that gun mount welded in and then an ammo locker to keep the belts of ammo dry. Then show Todd how we do it here.
Lou, You didn't even mention the level-Good one Paul!!

I just needed a few straight edges to transfer the height of the floor!!! SHEESH!!!! The square was to make nice straight lines for the mini-seats/steps/whatever so that I could butcher them out with the sawzall...

That sure is a random assortment of tool in there. Need a transit and a plumb bob to round it out.

As for the deck, put a little bin for shell boxes for fast reloading and now I'll need a milk crate to stand on too.

Here is a pic of how to set up an Auto -5 on the mount. You'll need to add spade grips to the gun too.

Mark~ I might as well pile on, too. FWIW - I think all that black and orange cable is overkill for your nav lights, etc.....

All the best,

Okay, I'll bite. You ground her and you'll need a more than a shovel!

My question was what is the green tool to the left (next to the square)?

LOL....I believe that's the only tool I see that belongs there if that's a ducks foot!

I'll admit I am just a bit jealous. I can afford only one aluminum level....hehehe

You're a band of misfits and hooligans. Yesterday I used my 4' LEVEL as a STRAIGHT EDGE (sheesh) to mark up the distance required between the nose and existing floor to attach in sections of angle aluminum. I used a small chunk of my plywood as a spacer to make sure the spacing will be as good as possible, though I'm sure it will be imperfect. It's the Lund, so I don't care too much. The angle alum is what I will be screwing the new floor down to. I made a template yesterday for the new floor and got a few coats of spar on it, will be attaching it down to the opening as soon as its dry enough with this colder weather.

Pics later today if on-call doesn't get too crazy. And yes, it's a duck foot! And that is outboard oil, I'm too cheap for expanding foam...

Paul, You say "misfits and hoolligans" like it is a bad thing. Don't you realize who you are dealing with here? Looking good. Make sure you don't use too long screws on that floor heehee . Always better to use heavier wire but that really is a bit much. Wouldn't a paddle work better than that shovel?

Well I pretty much skipped everything I had to do, which sucks, but there it is. just need to apply bedliner once the PL S30 dries - I love that stuff.

Paul, refreshing to see someone who works as "neatly" as I do. What is life without a good pile of stuff on your workbench/workplace?
