I have two decoy painting questions for those of you that antique decoys
1.) How do you get the textured chipped paint effect?
2.) How do you make the wood where the paint is missing look aged?

Good morning, Frank~

For the texture and chipping, I might experiment with my Bernzomatic torch - not on the decoy -but on a piece of scrap. A light touch with a small flame should harden and curl the paint a bit.
