Took these shots two days ago. The geese are filled with anxieties! The time is almost here and I fully expect that the next time I drive down to Bosque del Apache NWR that the snows and Ross' geese will be gone. Some of these geese will be heading for Banks Island in the Arctic. I found this shot interesting because of the high numbers of juveniles that I was seeing. To say the least, they are very intelligent.

Large number of juveniles doesn't surprise me. They are starting to separate from their parents, many of whom have probably already left.
