Anybody else watch Corner Gas??

Watch it??

After a plate full of beans and rice, I GET it...but when I do, I close my eyes really tight and push down so I have never actually watched it

It's one of the more popular shows in Canada, it has recently started airing in syndication down here in Virginia, it's nice to see a bit of home now and again. If you like CG you should try to get your hands on some episodes of "Red Green", sort of a combination of Home Improvement and The Beverly Hill Billys, you might already have seen it up in Michigan.

It's a sad day in Title town Farv is gone.

Red Green a most important show. Since it been on exports of Duck tape have tripled and our balance of trade needs all the help it can get.( : o )

I love the show where Red want's to update his old pickup truck. He's a bit jealous of people with electric windows so pulls the crank handles off and he uses a cordless drill to operate the windows.....he's a hoot!

That's a hoot Ed.I could stand a show like that from time to time.Sometimes the only thing on cable worth watching is the Weather Channel ;^)

Hark,

The kids and I are huge Red Green fans! Man where we ever bummed we he anounced his retirement. At least we'll always have reruns.

Are YOU sneaking out to Westlake? Or do you have to stay home and sell screws.

I like to think there's a little Red in all of us, or even (and this is just for you Shermie) Jimmy the Janitor. The exception of course is the "Anti Red" Micheal J. Fox.

Some more word of wisdom from that sage of sages-

Why Mature Men Don't Ask for Directions When We're Lost

Okay it all comes down to pride. We're out there driving around in our own vehicle, burning gas, wearing sunglasses, looking good. People who see us driving by would never guess that we have no idea where we are. And we don't want to tell them. Men don't enjoy the concept of going up to total strangers and saying "You may not know this but I'm a moron." In contrast the woman we're traveling with is often very anxious to share this knowledge with the world. It somehow eases her burden. To women, getting lost on a trip is a blameless act of nature - to men it's a personal failure. He knew where he was when he left home - he doesn't know where he is now. Somewhere along the line he crossed the line from the world he knows into the world he doesn't know. To a man this is how he felt when he got married or had kids. If he admits he's lost in the car, he'll have to admit that he's lost everywhere and that's way too much to ask. So just bite your tongue and circle the block a few more times. Men aren't lost, they just go the long way.

We're all in this togethor - keep yer stick on the ice!

You're so right, especially after the way he played this season, one of the true "heroes" out there in professional sports. I'll never forget the Monday Night Game after his dad passed away and he shot the lights out with 5 TD passes, that's the kind of example we need for kids to see as opposed to some of the "thug like" behavior that seems to show up these days.

Ed, wasn't that a cordless HAND MIXER?? One side rolls um down, the other side rotates opposite so it rolls them up!!!

Red Green Show??????

Sounds like someone who hangs out around our old club house........Posum Lodge!

One of my all time favorite shows. I'll have to check out this new one Lee.
Judy and I are addicted to teh old BBC re-runs that our local PBS has on Saturday evenings. "As time goes by" , "My Hero", "To the Manor Born" and "Last of the Summer Wine". I have the whole collection of the "Black Adder" shows and love them. The Mr. Bean series pretty much sucks IMO though.

I still like "Faulty Towers" and the old "Are you being served" series.
