Anybody ever try just sleepers for black ducks ??

Make sure you post some pics Eddie when you get your rig done.


It should be interesting to see how the black ducks react to an all sleeper rig...I cant wait.

If you see birds in your area that are resting or sleeping, this would make sense. I think all your decoys should show a low head and sleeping pose to show a flock confidence. Having some low heads or breast resters at the end of the rig or where you expect them to land as if they also may have just landed. Also, play the direction of the sun where you set-up. In areas where birds have been gunned alot, the birds may want to set in up-sun from the decoys to see if they like what you offer.

Well we need a ducky math dude to calculate the probability of odd or even numbers in a flock....then find the funding to study the effectiveness of odd or even decoy spreads..

Maybe get some stimulus money from the FEDS...creating ducky jobs...
