Scott I used to go to Duckers Day - the boat in your pictures was Randy Dow's. Randy is in photo wearing a camo shirt and holding a cane.

Thanks for the input guys.
I assumed that the fact that the transom didn't appear to be any more robust that the rest of the boat (thicker), that a motor wouldn't be properly supported. A one half inch thick (guestimate) transom wouldn't seem sufficient to me. But I will defer to you guys knowledge and see what happens.
Apparently the counter weight has not been found as of yet, so as Hank says........ If I get it on the cheap, I will try to solve that problem.
We shall see.
