if things have stabilized for you, and you are looking for an adventure where it is winter in july, we have a couple of spaces available for folks this year. If not, that is okay too-you can check our host's website at:
corgiova@infovia.com.ar
location is about 225 k south and east of buenos aires-we should be finding out later this week how the season is progressing.

George, I have been thinking about Argentina ducks every day since I got back. BUT not able to got his year and soo many other place s to see and hunt. So far it has to be the trip of MY lifetime. Wonderful host and accomidations and most of all I had some of the best hunting partners. Good Luck filling the crew and give Giovani my best.

Tom, even with four, we should have a good time---Going to see if the late season is productive! Giovanni has noted that there seem to be more ducks in the region as it gets later-perhaps this is staging time? we shall see.

George,

Last year Giovanni told me that the best time to come for ducks is the end of the season - last part of July. Also, it is his favorite time to hunt perdiz. You should have a great hunt. Like Tom, I think about our time there often. Maybe someday I'll get a chance to go back. I'd go back later in the season than we did and also take my own guns - 20 ga for ducks and a 28 ga for perdiz.

pete, gotta field test some new stuff down there---made some cinnamons and an updated sprig pattern for this year---will let you guys know how everything went!

I also would take my own gun but it would be my do all 20 ga. 870 Synthetic Express. They are still handled by baggage handlers. 20 ga is plenty and easier on the shoulder, (never had to worry about that before)!!

Tom,
last year was the first time we rented---one afternoon, we field stripped the berettas--yep, even they will get gummy with that powder--the boys did noy know about the little gas ports in the barrel--Tehy worked much better--taking our 302's again this time--we have a good hard case with foam--have not had a problem--yet!! the peso/dollar makes taking the gun again 370+ per hundere us.

gotta love inflation Tom--last year, we got around 200 pesos per 100 us

Just when we thought the socialistic liberal demobamanomics had screwed us, we discover a country with bigger problems! hehehhehhehe
