anyone ever run a duck water boat before

i was thinking of going for a 15 or a 17 stealth has any one had any experiance with these boats,i know there from the states ohio im not sure just looking for feed back guys.

i live on the east coast of canada and i know a bankes boat would be a lot easier to get with alot less hassle no shipping no exchange rate and anything else cross border costs would be ,its only about 20 hours to get there and id be visiting me grandma while i was going thru.

i just want to make the right choice on sumthin i can had the keys over to my daughter when the time is right and have no fear of her in the boat ,im looking to up grade by next spring for sure if not sooner.and i want a boat to be able to get us out there and back and be able to hunt the ocean for eiders and squaws and still be able to snug up in a shallow bay for divers and geese.its gotta have the blind for sure.

anyway i know a few guys here have bankes and cant say enough about them i was looking for in put on this style of boat.

Ithink if your looking for to buy a duck water boat or a bankes boat you sure could afford to buy those v boards and some silo.Looking forward to seeing some info on the duck water boat cause defineately think quite hard on the 17 foot stealth maybe in a year or so

The bankes boats sure are pretty as are the TDB's. Nice clean lines and very streamlined. Luckily I'm not in the market so I don't have to struggle with your decision.

If your after a battleship however, check out the Duckwater Boats. I visited the Duckwater Boats shop recently and saw a couple of boats in various stages. They are built like tanks! Steve makes boats up to 25'! He also will build something to your specs if you desire.

I have a Bankes Goliath, and wouldn't want to hunt in any other boat.

I don't know of any Bankes owners with a bad thing to say.

Ride in both in some nasty weather if you can and then make your decision.
