I got offered some of these Superduck (Super Duck) Decoys on a trade. Does anyone know anything about them? History, characteristics, material, keel, weight, paint, how they float, longevity? What they sell for?

I searched and there was a post about someone selling some but no info and no pics. I pic would be great too.

Thanks,
Tony

If they are the Cheasapeake Super Duck decoys, then I had about 3 dozen 10-15 years ago. Had ducks and geese. Look great, nice visibility, are pretty much indestructible, and thought they would be my ultimate decoy. However, they are very heavy and in open water with a significant chop they will flip. So depends on your hunting situation. If weight, large numbers or rough water are not an issue, then they should be fine. However, for layout or shore hunting Sandusky Bay, I was not satisfied with their performance. Too heavy to get any quantity to carry through the muck into the marsh. Great for farm ponds, rivers, or protected waters.
Just my experience and opinion.

Man, I love this place. Thanks for your time and candor. If anyone else has some more info, keep it coming.
