Bob Interesting to say the least. Bob I'm going along with your thought that is some type of rudder for steering that scull. Where abouts it the scull located? I don't see a scull hole either so it's interesting or a possibility that it is a type of motion devise to push the boat along I have seen some pretty ingenuous ideas in my day. peddles and you name it to push these boats. You got the rocket right! The owners of some ice boats I've watched when we ice fish claim they get close to 50 mph in a stiff breeze!Not sure... looks like she needs a 15hp and a seatbelt!
