Anything "ducky" to do in Boston?

I'm going to Boston next month for a continuing medical education course and the wife is staying home. I'll have some time to kill when I'm not in class. Does anybody know of anything worth doing there besides Fenway, Sam Adams, and Cheers?

I don't know of anything Ducky but if you want Fishy check out the New England Aquarium. It is always very nice place to spend some time.

Boston Museum of Science is great too. Catch the electricity show at the great big Van De Graff Generator if you can.

By the way, is John Hancock really asking if there is anything to do in Boston? LOL!

John,
I'm newer to the area and I know there are some long timers on the board but if you have a 1/2 day free at some point head up to the North Shore, about 45 mins-1hr north of Boston. Lots of marsh and ducks up here to see, Gloucester, Essex, etc. and the Plum Island Refuge is fantastic, lots of birds if the pools are not frozen over. Bring your duck stamp for free entry of course!

I'll 2nd what B. Gahagen said. Cape Ann and north up Rt1 is real nice. I fished out of there years ago and used to drive N. up to Newberryport and back to clear my mind. Also, great food around the North End where John Livoti suggested. And there used to be a bunch of penguins at the aquarium. They taste like scoter. (Just kidding) Have fun.
