Aquapod

I am looking to put an electric motor on a 10 ft Aqua pod. Can anyone suggest a thrust size and the length of the engine shaft?

What I did was take an old one and cut the shaft off the electric motor. All it is is a conduit for the wiring.... It works for me.

I did the same thing on my AP.
I had a 40lb motor and it moved along quite well.
