ARGHHHHHHHHHH

both dogs down with giardia/bacteria, bathroom break every hour on the hour. I don't feel right going out without one of them, so I took the day off and its painful for me as canvasbacks are late to leave and some redheads are still around. Before it hit Cato I shot this one on our property yesterday. We have never had cans on there, so its a bit of a trophy, to bad the redheads we had left a few days before.

that is a tough one. The Beaver Fever is not fun.
Esp when the King is in the pond out back. What a shot of that bird. Sure is a nice looking Bull. Hope you get the dogs back on track soon.

Sorry to hear that Bill, bad time of year for a dog to be down, let alone both. Hope they are on the mend now.

Beauty Can, I haven't shot one in a few years.

Thanks guys, we are covered in them, haven't seen cans like this in years, small water, big water, non traditional places. Many have left, but seems like more keep taking there place. They are about 3 days past due to leave and we have a moderate NNW wind tommorrow so I hope that doesn't take them south. I was going to hunt this morning before work with the little one, but getting up every hour for Cato throughout the night, I overslept and tommorrow I am at training all day in Bismarck.

Both dog spirits are good and both want to hunt, but brandee is over the hump it seems, still long term health is more important than their and my short term desires.
