Back On The Ice

Finally made it back out onto the shores of Lake Michigan. Seems like it has been snowing every day here for the past few weeks. The ice has receded quite a bit on shore but the calm sunny weather had the birds in close to shore today. Still working on the SLR thing, mainly sharpness of images, so any suggestions would be great.

First was a little dog work. Should be pretty cool having all 3 labs in the crew this year

Thanks for looking,

Gary,

Anywhere from 25-50 yards. Goldeneyes were pretty skittish and stayed towards the back of the group once they knew I was there but the bills didnt seem to mind much and stayed in closer.

Nice shot of the labs. Looks like that crew is willing to go hunt on a moment's notice. Enjoyed seeing all of those ducks. Nicely done, Andrew.
