WOW with a weather forcast like that you'd fit right in here in Montauk. Strong gusty winds, dangerous cloud to ground lightning and hail, is my favorite

Gene, I was going to ask you what "moist" meant. Less than one and one half hour's worth of rain would about do it for the annual rainfall around here.

Al, I bet 1 1/2hrs would. I seen first hand a number of years ago what happens in Tucsan,AZ when it rains hard in desert. Moist is a little more than damp, but not quite wet. So I guess that would be sarcasim:) To get that much rain a hour is hard to imagine, we get a inche a hour hour and it's flooding streams and such around here.

That was a hell of a ride! At one point I was driving north and my Jeep was sliding East! It took me 3 hours to drive 48 miles. You gotta love Florida. I'd come up to a low spot where the water was to deep to drive and there would be a detour sign only to follow the sign and end up in another water hole where there wasn't a detour sign and had NO idea where I was! Thank god for GPS....or maybe it's thank Gore....
