You need to do another page on the thinplate technology batteries that are showing up in the marketplace. Very low internal resistance.

That section of that book is the first thing I recommend to any customer that shows the smallest interest in their batteries.
The most recent edition (3rd) is very good, and my coworker, just got home from Florida where the author gave a presenation on a new project to provide DC propulsion for boats. Cool stuff and deff. worth watching if you are into the technology.

Dang Dave, you sounded like you work for a battery mfgr. That explanation was impressive! Good job. I studied it in college. We actually had a field trip the the Interstate Battery Factory in Minneapolis, Mn. I worked in the business a long time. Electronics was my strong suit along with machining critical parts. I absolutely loved heavy engine rapair. I am very good at worthless trivia. Building boats is another matter......
