No time - or unpainted birds - for a full Tutorial right now. So, in response to a few requests - here are the colors I use for Greenwings.

NOTE: I try to avoid unique colors. So, wherever possible, I select colors that are also useful on other species.

You may have just inspired me to dust off the Little Brown Duck Rig i started a couple years ago...hens and eclipse/immature drakes for early season.

Well, as long as you're dusting them off - I am picturing you swanning around your living room to the tune of "The Lemon Pledge Song", spray can in one hand, dust rag in the other - you might as well give them fresh coats of paint.

More like smack them a couple times with an old glove...or if I'm really particular, a blow off of compressed air. Either way, they will have to create a fair bit of their own dust as they haven't progressed much since this picture was taken a couple years ago...I guess life got in the way...

Thanks Steve,. Like Chuck I also have an unfinished rig of Teal just awaiting the inspiration to paint. Hopefully this will move them up the priority list.
