Many of you have heard me and Carl sing the praises of the Beretta 390. It's a rock solid semi-auto in black plastic that will reliably cycle any 2 3/4 or 3 inch loads I've ever put in it. And it retails for a little over $500.
I was in Walmart today and they had marked them down to $399. I am afraid this may mean they are discontinuing the gun. Indeed, at my local store there were none to be had, and they told me no more were expected.
I don't know if the sale is on at all Walmarts, but if you are looking for a reliable budget semi, it's worth checking your local outlets to find out. I'd have bought one at that price just to have a spare . . . . .
