Best book for waterfowl pictures?

Lee, there are a couple of places that sell reference material for specific specie. One being "The Duck Blind" or you can google a specific bird and get good reference pictures from google. Another good idea is to go to pbase.com and search for the bird you are wanting and you should get some really good pics. Others may chime in on some other sights for good referrence but this should give you a good start. Good luck

Thanks!

Tony,
I do Pbase and Google and love them both but need a book for taking out to the shop. Cork and wood dust isn't very laptop friendly.

Lee:
Buy yourself a 18 x 24 cork board and mount it over your painting bench. Then you just tack up the reference photos that pertain to what you are doing. I like to have a few overall photos along the bottom and then detail photos above. You can put 16 4x6 photos on the board.

Good luck!

The Lemasters book is now getting kind of old. Its not bad, but photography has come so much farther.

An outstanding book published recently is the Otto Brothers waterfowl reference book. Jason Otto is a carver and hunter with some killer equipment. Here is the lowest price I found for his book.

Another great photographer is Jeff Coats. (Pitboss Waterfowl) I thought he had some CDs of waterfowl, but can't find on his website.
